The Sumo is a mid length, high volume model with speed to go. The difference here is that the wide point is forward and the tail is a Mal like pintail. The volume in the middle gives the floatation under your chest and makes this Sumo way easy to paddle.

Well, if the stress marks on either side of the clean snap were a guide, the board did put up a pretty good fight, but lost the battle. Mother nature is the most powerful beast!
